Things to do in Bangladesh

If you are planning a Bangladesh trip, you might be wondering what are the things to do in Bangladesh. Though Bangladesh is not a night life friendly country you will not be upset as Bangladesh has to offer a lot. You will only be disappointed if you are a late night traveler.

Now, let start with what are the things to do in Bangladesh depending on time of your travel. Most month have some unique events and festivals in Bangladesh. Festivals are low during monsoon from the month of June to August. But the nature is at its best during that period. Google Bangladesh events to know more about their events and festivals.

Your things to do in Bangladesh list should have some food to teste list. If you google you will find Star or Al-Rajjak restaurant at top of the list. But I would personally recommend to try some street food in Banani and Old Dhaka. Be prepared to be chilled with hot spices and masalas. Kabab in Bangladesh are lot better than from origin Pakistan and India. FakquddinBereany is another think that you may try. Try Hundi in Chittagong and Sweets in Khulna.

Next in your things to do inBangladesh should have some riding. It is not fast and furious but Show and Furious not the ultra-modern but old is gold model. Yes they are. Try local bus and train and get ready to be packed with people and traffic in road. Try riding Rocket Steamer journey to Barishal and come back by lavishly decorated Steamer. Surely you will be charmed and thrilled by your ride.

Your list should also have a twist in the places you visit, such as in coxs bazar try to go to Moheshkhali by speed boat as local do where you will find straggle of people living in island and also people traveling long to visit Adhunuth Temple. If you travel Bandarban or any area in Chittagong hill tracks area try to pass few hours in tribal houses or village to know their life and survival techniques, in Sundarban try local cultural program at the bank of the river where people will illustrate the life in Sundarban through drama and dance. If you want to relax in Srimangal live in eco resorts or any place inside a tea garden. These twists in travel will give unique experiences to meet your sole purpose.

Finally in your things to do in Bangladesh must have interaction with local people. They will be as curious as like you and surely will smile and say hello at you. The children are most fascinating. For the people you will remember Bangladesh for a while.

Hope your will list down a few and try in your next trip to Bangladesh.

Tour Operator in Bangladesh

Bangladesh, a small country in south asia offering great nature and family vacation. If you never been there you may not consider visiting Banladesh but if you do some googling your will find lot of tour operator in Bangladesh offering the biggest mangrove forest tour and longest sea beach in the world, unknowingly located in Bangladesh.

As I searched more, I found number of unique attractions are located in Bangladesh among which UNSCO listed world heritage, centuries old establishments and buddiest monastery of 8th century to be noted. Unfortunately, only few tour operator in Bangladesh offering diversified culture of the country. As tour in Bangladesh are really cheap than India, Nepal and Bhutan, I would recommend to hire one to ease your from lot of hassle.

As, I started communication with tour operator in Bangladesh, my personal experience is not as good as my late experience. Listed companies in lonely planet was not that interested in me as I was a solo traveler. Two and three company are listed in lonely planet and they mainly focus on the group tour and they are tird up with other tour operator in Europe from whom they are getting a number of tourist and not interested in customer service or online service. Forget about credit card or online booking and payment. My personal experience was I found 2 companies said they will accept my card online. Some didn’t respond my email for days and some just copied other company’s mail and content. But finally I found one, only for which I am writing this article.

Deshghuri is one of the Best - rated tour operator in Bangladesh providing guided tour service along with hotel booking, car rental and related logistics services for tourists and business travelers. Deshghuri aim is to make you experience Authentic Bengali Culture and create refreshing memories that will last for life. The company facilitates single-day tour to multi-days tour and activities. In city tours offered by deshghuri, you will get in touch with local culture and history and a multiday will let you enjoy Bangladesh nature, culture and history in depth. They are the one of the few tour operator in Bangladesh who is listed in TripAdvisor and also highly recommended there. Though they have few reviews and all I found authenticated, they provided me services that are more than my expectation and have the global standard with very limited resources available in Bangladesh. Making deshghuri your travel companion in Bangladesh expedition, will give best value of your time and money.
